When is Singapore busiest with international visitors, and when is it quietest?
July had the most international visitor arrivals in 2025, with 9.9% of the year's total. June had the fewest, with 7.4%. That makes July 1.3 times as busy as June.1
Nine months each had less than an average month's share of 8.3%: February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November and December.
Where do Singapore's international visitors come from?
The largest group came from China, with 18.3% of international visitor arrivals to Singapore in 2025, followed by Indonesia (14.4%), and Malaysia and Australia (7.5% each).1

What exactly is counted?
The Singapore Department of Statistics defines international visitor arrivals as international visitors whose length of stay in Singapore is less than a year. The count leaves out Malaysian citizens arriving by land, returning Singapore citizens, permanent residents and pass holders, transport crew, military personnel, and transit and transfer passengers. The figures are derived from SG Arrival Cards and compiled from immigration movement records.2
Other countries count arrivals differently, which is why we do not rank Singapore against the others on the overview page.
June or September? May or October?
June and September were almost identical, at 7.4% and 7.4%.
May and October were almost identical, at 8.1% and 8.2%.
These compare months at similar distances from the middle of the year. They say nothing about weather, which we have not measured.
What these figures cannot tell you
Arrivals are not crowds. A month with many arrivals can still feel quiet if visitors stay briefly or spread out, and a national total cannot show how busy one city, park or beach is.
They say nothing about length of stay, weather or prices. This page has no weather or price data.
Malaysians arriving by land are not counted. So Malaysia's share of visitors here is lower than it would be if they were.2
